Senior Consultant Job Duties Include:

  • Design and lead initiatives that support clients’ transformation plans for their partner channel ecosystems.
  • Evaluate and redesign internal and external functions and processes.
  • Recommend strategies and solutions that address complex organizational needs and strategic business plan goals.
  • Functions include marketing, sales, operations, enablement, organizational blueprint design, finance, incentives, and compensation, among others.
  • Bring thoughtful, original perspectives to clients. Identify and study pain points and opportunities.
  • Conduct external market and internal research. Present executive-level and detailed insights and recommendations.
  • Lead change management initiatives
  • Design and build capabilities to measure and improve key performance metrics, helping clients understand how much the needle has moved.
  • Lead complex, virtual teams to achieve engagement objectives and manage associated workstreams efforts. Plan and orchestrate closely with stakeholders, subject matter experts, workstream owners, and governance teams partnering on mid- and long-term timelines.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships. Liaise among stakeholders, including senior leadership, to garner buy-in.
  • Mentor engagement team members.
  • Prepare business proposals and presentations.
  • Ensure clients receive the support needed to implement the recommended solutions.
  • Manage project plans, meetings, meeting notes, status reports, and client communications.
  • Work both independently as well as with a team, balancing priorities in complex environments.
  • Lead company initiatives to drive productivity and efficiency in the firm.
  • Support business development activities, client nurturing, and the prospecting of new clients.

Job Qualifications Include:

  • 5+ years of partner channel consulting experience.
  • 5+ years managing large projects/initiatives, timelines, and workstream deliverables.
  • Prior leadership, strategic, and tactical program management roles.
  • Prior partner & strategy operations experience with partner sales, partner recruit, and partner sales execution.
  • Analyzing and assessing channel partner compensation or incentive strategies.
  • Using data analytics on channel sales and incentives.
  • Experience building, leading, or advising high performing partner programs, partner development, sales, and/or business development teams.

Our consultants provide objective advice, expertise, and specialist skills to high-tech companies across three functional practice areas — marketing, sales, and partner programs — with the aim of creating value, maximizing growth, and improving the business performance of our clients.

Business Process Consultant Duties Include:

  • Meet with clients and stakeholders to discover business process requirements and scope.
  • Design and map current state or desired state business processes.
  • Establish process governance framework using key process attributes and actively engaging business stakeholders.
  • Carry out analysis of current state processes and identify opportunities to enhance processes.
  • Create and implement improvement initiatives, to-be business process design, and gap analysis.
  • Liaise with client’s leadership to coordinate process improvement project activities.
  • Inspect effectiveness of process improvement initiatives and make useful recommendations.
  • Run focus groups and facilitate improvement workshops advocating for the business users, understanding and enabling industry leading best practices.
  • Work with C-suite executives to design as well as drive the process evaluation and direction for change.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of key cross divisional processes that drive fundamental processes.
  • Design, develop and deliver presentations that educate, inform, and influence critical business decisions.
  • Interpret business needs, document requirement (in waterfall or agile formats), and guide high level solution design.
  • Lead team to own/manage business process design and documentation and understand and analyze gaps.
  • Research competitive solutions to provide input for determining current best of breed solutions in industry.

Job Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred.
  • PMI or Agile certification preferred
  • Must have a passion for process excellence.
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 5+ years of consulting on business process design and facilitation efforts, preferably at a high-tech firm.
  • Excellent data modeling skills (pivot tables, Power Pivot, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Have excellent knowledge of business modeling terminology.
  • Have excellent knowledge of Business Process Modeling Notation (ISO Noun/Verb and BPMN).
  • Showcase good analytical and evaluation skills.
  • Advanced computer skills, to include, but not limited to Microsoft Suite of Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint, Visio) required.

Responsibilities

  • Define and review project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals as stated in key agreements (e.g. Statement of Work) in collaboration with senior management objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in the fields of computer science, engineering, or business.
  • 5 years of experience in project and program management using Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • 5 years of experience in communication management.
  • Proven working experience in project management in the information technology sector.
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
  • PM will need the ability to understand Project Plans, Microsoft technology, as it is a vital tool for the role.
  • Must be comfortable presenting project updates, blockers, etc. to management as well as peers.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Experience with analytic tools such as: complex Excel pivot tables, PowerBI.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • CSM certification is a plus.
